Summer 2017: GT Automotive celebrate a busy year of expansion and dynamism in the aftermarket trade!
Spirits are high at GT Automotive, as we toast a successful year since our aftermarket brand launch in 2016.
GT Automotive are celebrating a year of steady expansion in the aftermarket trade! We have consolidated many of our prestigious trade partnerships and formed dynamic new ones, and are delighted to have seen an exponential growth in GT’s range of OE quality products. With the vast expansion of our Oxfordshire warehousing facilities and our transition to MAM software for our business management, it has been a great year of growth for GT Automotive and we are delighted to share some of the highlights:
Developing our quality trade partnerships:
Since our launch, our trade partnerships have been flourishing and product ranges have increased phenomenally. A highlight of Automechanika 2016 was introducing our customers to GT Automotive’s OE quality range of alternators and starter motors, manufactured by our esteemed partners LucasElekrik. GT are proud to be the sole UK distributor of LucasElektrik’s OE quality products to the UK market: their excellent rotating electrics range covers a broad swathe of the passenger car parc, and we are delighted to have increased our stock of these outstanding products and broadened the range available to our customers.
Similarly, GT Automotive’s partnership with OEM Ford Q1 cooling-component manufacturer Kale, formed in 2014, has also gone from strength to strength. GT have markedly extended our stock of their fantastic range of radiators, intercoolers, oil coolers and heater cores: in partnership with Kale, we have also progressed with our cooling component production capability (with capacity to produce over 4 million products annually). GT continue to pride ourselves on our short lead times, our ever expanding range of quality Kale products, and our excellent design credentials for developing new OEM products.
Since 2016, GT Automotive have also bolstered our much-valued partnership with RIKEN, the esteemed world-leading, technology-orientated Japanese piston ring manufacturer. GT are proud to continue to be the sole UK distributor of RIKEN’s European piston ring range (we can supply the full Japanese range too). We have increased our initial stock of 1700 part numbers substantially and are proud to now cover the vast majority of European and Japanese vehicle applications.
Celebrating a new trade partnership with KING PISTONS:
GT Automotive are also delighted to announce that we have become a UK distributor of a wide range of pistons from the dynamic company King Pistons, whose superb factory complexes are based in Turkey. King Pistons have been producing outstanding quality pistons for the global market for over 30 years, and are renowned for their cutting-edge machinery and technology, their expert team of engineers, excellent product variety and vast production capacity. We greatly value the GT Automotive-King Pistons partnership, which compliments and strengthens GT’s already impressive engine component range.
Expanding our business: extended facilities, new MAM software and plans for Autocat.
Over the last year, GT Automotive have embarked on a number of initiatives to bolster our brand awareness in Europe and to expand our business. In September 2016, GT were delighted to display our extensive range of OE quality products at Automechankia Frankfurt, which increased our brand awareness in Europe and broadened our European and Global distribution. Soon after, GT Automotive completed a successful expansion of our UK warehousing facilities in Oxfordshire, which vastly extended our stock capacity, in an effort to bring more quality products for fast delivery to our customers.
To make our business management even more productive, GT Automotive have also recently been making the transition to the outstanding MAM software, which is further boosting the efficiency and accuracy of our product ordering and management system. GT also became a member of Autopart, and are striving to be on Autocat by the end of 2017, which will further enhance our aftermarket brand presence and set the stage for further business development.
It has been a fantastic year and we give thanks to our much-valued customers and look forward to forging new partnerships in the months ahead.
