Company History

Since 1994 we have been involved in the manufacture of chilled-cast and steel camshafts for the global market.

Years of involvement in OEM projects and wholesale distribution established a solid foundation for the GT Automotive brand to be born in 2011.

With GT Automotive camshafts becoming an established product, known for fantastic quality and a huge variety of applications (as it stands GT Automotive has a range of over 2,500 applications), we expanded in to a broader range of engine components to complement our camshafts, including lifters, bearings, valves and rocker arms.

In 2012, GT Automotive moved in to a new, larger warehouse facility in Oxfordshire and customised the space for our expansion. With a great knowledge base amongst our team, GT Automotive branched out in to other quality automotive products outside of the engine.

In 2014, GT Automotive established a partnership with OEM and Ford Q1 manufacturers, Kale Radiators, and to date we continue to grow our aftermarket and OEM presence in the UK market with their products.

Towards the end of 2015, GT Automotive become proud partners with RIKEN piston rings to further enhance our engine component range. This includes the sole distribution rights of RIKEN piston rings in the UK for their European range.

GT Automotive had an exciting year in 2016, with the introduction of a fantastic range of alternators from another of our OEM pedigree factories to name just one of the new ranges we shall be introducing to the UK market this year.
